APPLICATION PROCESS

Inbound to RSU

  • 1. Student applies online at "Apply"
  • 2. ISC sends application to Dean via Associate Dean Internationalization / ICN at RSU host faculty (e-mail)
  • 3. RSU host faculty replies its decision to ISC
  • 4. ISC informs partner university and student of the application result with copy to ISS
  • 5. ISS issues acceptance letter and dispatch document to partner university and student with copy to ISC and RSU host faculty
  • 6. Student contacts Associate Dean Internationalization / ICN at RSU host faculty to form learning agreement
  • 7. Student submits the approved learning agreement by both home and host universities to ISC
  • 8. ISC informs registrar office of inbound exchange student name list and learning agreement where tuition fee shall be waived each semester
  • 9. Student applies for ISS logistic support at "Pick up" "Accommodation"
  • 10. ISS provides airport pick up / accommodation check in / Buddy activities
  • 11. ISC provides central RSU orientation (Once a semester)
  • 12. Student commences academic session at host faculty including registration process supervised by Associate Dean Internationalization / ICN at RSU host faculty
  • 13. Student attend program completion ceremony "certificate of exchange program completion" presentation (Vary: subject to faculty's plan)
  • 14. Student completes post program evaluation form
  • 15. ISC dispatches official transcript from registrar to partner university within 1 month after the program completion

Outbound to the World

  • 1. Student applies for the selection process at ISC "Apply"
  • 2. Interview session
  • 3. Name list announcement
  • 4. Student applies to partner university (hard copy / online as per partner university’s system)
  • 5. Partner university informs ISC of the decision
  • 6. ISC inform RSU home faculty and student
  • 7. ISC assists student on VISA application / logistic advice
  • 8. Student contacts Associate Dean Internationalization / ICN at RSU home faculty to form learning agreement, credit transfer
  • 9. ISC proposes learning agreement to partner university
  • 10. ISC informs Associate Dean Internationalization / ICN and student at RSU of the approved learning agreement from partner university
  • 11. ISC informs registrar office of outbound exchange student name list each semester
  • 12. ISC provides pre departure orientation
  • 13. Partner university dispatches official transcript to ISC
  • 14. ISC forward the transcript to student and home faculty
  • 15. Student completes post program evaluation form​

INBOUND to RSU

  • 1. Student applies online at "Apply"
  • 2. ISC sends application to Dean via Associate Dean Internationalization / ICN at RSU host faculty (e-mail)
  • 3. RSU host faculty replies its decision to ISC
  • 4. ISC informs applicant of the application result with copy to ISS
