COVID 19 Advisory Update: 5 April 2020

World Health Organization (WHO) has declared COVID-19 a pandemic on 11 March
2020. People and outbound travelers are recommended to closely monitor the situation.
Moreover, the public must fully cooperate and act as the Ministry of Public Health
(MoPH) recommends for your safety and for the safety of others, and to decrease the
negative social and economic impacts.
The Disease Infected Zones were determined to include the People’s Republic of
China (including Special Administrative Regions Macau and Hong Kong), South
Korea, Iran and Italy.
The Thailand Government announced an Emergency Decree

Essential travel documents you must carry and submit to airline officials before
check-in at the airport of origin are as follows:
– Foreigners: The Fit to Fly Health Certificate which has been certified or issued no
more than 72 hours before travelling
– Thai Citizens: The Fit to Fly Health Certificate which has been certified or issued no
more than 72 hours before travelling, and a letter from the Royal Thai Embassy
